I established These Hands are for You 20 years ago. I began offering massages back in the 70’s to the rowing team at the University of Victoria when I would see them arrive back at the dorms exhausted and sore. But I didn’t heed the calling. I  completed my B.Ed. and became a teacher. Over the years, I continued to offer massages to friends and family.  I also studied other healing disciplines. These included Specialized kinesiology, reiki, reflexology, various massage classes, Bowen therapy and Watsu.

After healing from Lyme disease, I began my healing practice in 1998. I work from my lovely little studio in my back yard. My business is mobile as well, and I treat clients along Vancouver Island north to Campbell River and in Vancouver as well.

I continue to upgrade and learn new skills. Gardening, knitting, painting with acrylics, copper work, dingy sailing, and personal growth workshops are a few of my interests.
